Rebuilding Warriors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides highly trained, socialized service and companion dogs to veterans and first responders at no cost to the recipient. Raising4 is proud to direct this year's Independence Day Light Show donations to their mission.
Founded and led by President-CEO Jeff Mullins, Rebuilding Warriors pairs specially bred and trained dogs with honorably discharged veterans from any branch and any era of service, as well as first responders. Most of their dogs are bred specifically for this mission and raised with a strong foundation of obedience and manners so they can bond quickly with their new handler and family.
The organization serves those diagnosed as amputees and those living with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and TBI (traumatic brain injury). Each dog becomes a confidence builder and constant companion, and that unconditional bond helps these men and women move past self-imposed limitations as they return to everyday life.
Rebuilding Warriors sponsors each veteran's companion or mobility dog end to end: purchasing the dog from a reputable breeder, providing professional training, and setting up the equipment they need at home. Because everything is provided at no cost to the veteran, your donation directly funds the training and placement of the next service dog.
